From the age of 6 Robert Mumford always dreamed of having a “shop”. This dream finally became a reality in 2023 with after an absence of 70 years the reopening of Mumford Stores.

Mumford Stores was originally owned and operated by Roberts Great Great aunt Dora Fielding (nee Mumford) and located in the village of Great Staughton.

Another of Roberts Great Great aunt Hilda Southgate (nee Mumford) had a shop in the village of Weedon Northamptonshire .
